Polyethylene plants are integrated into petrochemical complexes together with steam crackers and other downstream units. At Linde Engineering, we optimise this integration and recover monomers from the vent and off-gas streams of polyethylene plants in crackers.
In order to pushing this forward, we teamed up with Univation Technologies, the global leader in licensed polyethylene technologies, to bring new value to petrochemical producers worldwide. The cooperation agreement integrates Linde Engineering’s T-EPC capabilities with Univation’s UNIPOL™ PE Process platform to reduce capital expenditure whilst increasing quality and efficiency of new and retrofit ethylene cracker and polyethylene projects.
