A successful start to your career

If you are a graduate who is keen to keep learning and developing a global mindset, then this programme is meant for you. It will introduce you to five different Linde departments, including a posting abroad. These fast-paced changes and your work on on-going projects will require an ability to quickly adapt to new situations, to use your intellectual and social skills and to rise to new and diverse challenges. But all these experiences will contribute to your development both on a technical and a personal level. And of course, we’re behind you every step of the way.

At a glance ...

During this 24-month programme you’ll complete five postings in different Linde departments, ranging from four to six months each. In between these postings you’ll have two-day training modules to foster your network at Linde and to help you specifically prepare for your next tasks. These training modules include initial teambuilding, a financial game, intercultural awareness (before your posting abroad) and special courses for communication and conflict as well as presentation and negotiation. At the end of the programme, we’ll support you in finding a position best suited to your strengths.

Focus on a specialisation: you are offered a choice between three different tracks concentrating on either Engineering, Product Lines or Commercials
Train specific skills: mentoring and individually tailored training will boost your abilities in areas ranging from intercultural awareness to negotiation
See the world: you will improve your foreign language skills while getting to know a new culture and another way of life by working abroad
Build your network: meet other graduates and employees to establish connections for the professional path ahead of you
Prepare your future: this two-year scheme is only the beginning – a brilliant career will await you afterwards

We will keep you informed about the next application period and start of this biannual programme. With regards to application, you would need to send in your CV, references, academic certificates and a one-page essay explaining why you want to join the programme, in which of the three tracks you can contribute the most and what you want to achieve in these 24 months. If you are successful in the four-step selection process, you will then be able to join the programme only a few months later.

Once the application period closes, our work begins! We devote our time to picking the best candidates. Here we advance in four steps:

Step 1: Local Screening
We carefully screen all applications by assessing the CVs and motivational letters to pre-select candidates for the next stage.

Step 2: Telephone interview
We arrange a structured interview over the phone.

Step 3: Online testing
If successful, you’ll be invited to an online psychometrics test with a focus on assessing intelligence and social skills.

Step 4: Face-to-face meeting
For a final decision, a line manager and a representative of the human resources department will interview you in person and conduct
